Partners Healthcare - Somerville

Partners HealthCare formally broke ground recently on its new administrative offices in Assembly Square in Somerville that will bring approximately 4,500 permanent and 1,500 construction jobs to the 45-acre Assembly Row development.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the 850,000 square foot building featured many prominent local and state leaders. Partners HealthCare, the state’s largest private employer, announced the move in December 2013, making it the first major industry tenant for the $1.2 billion district development. The first phase of an eventual 1.1 million square foot development, the new building will also include 100,000 square feet of retail and dining space on the ground floor, to be constructed and managed by FRIT.

Pavilion Floors will be working with Suffolk Construction and installing 70,000 square yards of carpet tile which will be primarily in a herringbone pattern. The project will run through 2016.

Millennium Tower - Boston

Millennium Tower Boston, the tallest residential building in Boston, is one of Pavilion Floors’ more notable projects. Rising beyond 600 feet with over 55 floors, “The Tower,” its new nickname, will have over 420 luxury condominiums with state-of-the-art build-outs, floor to ceiling windows, and a breathtaking view of Boston and the harbor area. The building will have around the clock concierge service, security, parking garage, an owners’ lounge, gym, and indoor swimming pool. There will be over 250,000 square feet of retail space, including a supermarket, boutique shops, and fine restaurants.

Pavilion Floors is proud to be working with Suffolk Construction on the project which will wrap up in mid-2016. Pavilion will have installed 25,000 yards of bedroom carpet and 7,000 yards of custom corridor carpet.
